Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone. Good.
If this annoys you, you needed it.
Hey guys
Entrepreneurship has never looked more glamorous.
Scroll Instagram and it’s supercars, yachts, “freedom”, “CEO mindset”, and people pretending success is inevitable if you just want it badly enough.
It’s misleading. And it’s costing you.
I’ve built and scaled companies across finance, hospitality and media. I’ve raised serious money. I’ve gone bankrupt twice in public. I’ve rebuilt again.
So when I say this, I’m not being dramatic:
Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone. And that’s not an insult, it’s reality.
I’ve just been featured in an article called “The Brutal Truth About Entrepreneurship: It’s Not For Everyone.”
And it covers what most “founder content” avoids:
The stress
The uncertainty
The responsibility
The very real chance you’ll work like a dog and still make nothing
Because most people don’t want entrepreneurship.
They want certainty with a nicer Instagram story.
The question that exposes most people
Everyone says they want a million quid.
But if you tell them the truth:
18-hour days.
7 days a week.
No guarantee you’ll even make two grand a month.
Suddenly the dream dies.
That’s why I say “real entrepreneurship” isn’t for 99% of people.
Not because they’re not capable, because they don’t want the trade-off.
And that’s fine.
The bit nobody tells you: sometimes quitting is the smart move
The internet screams “never give up”.
I think that advice is lazy.
If the numbers don’t work anymore…
If the assumptions are dead…
If you’re miserable and it’s draining the life out of you…
Continuing isn’t resilience.
It’s denial.
So what do you do with this?
You stop romanticising it and you start making decisions like an adult.
Read the article. It’ll either motivate you or it’ll save you. Both are a win.
And if you’re serious about building something real this year, don’t do it alone.

If you’re not cut out for it, you’ll realise fast.
If you are, you’ll level up faster because you’re finally in a room that tells the truth.
PS: If you want the “what do I do next?” blueprint, not motivation, grab THE POWER OF ONE.
